Description

Your Responsabilities:

  • Independently conduct hydraulic and mechanical system measurements in hydropower plants (planning, execution, analysis, and reporting)
  • Provide expert assessments and solutions for vibration-related issues
  • Responsible for procurement, maintenance, and calibration of measurement equipment
  • Perform mechanical simulations and finite element (FE) calculations
  • Collaborate closely with project teams both domestically and internationally

Your Profile:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (FH/ETH/TU) or equivalent qualification
  • Enjoy analyzing complex processes and working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (6–10 trips per year, each lasting 3–10 days)
  • Excellent written and spoken English and German skills (minimum level C1); additional languages are a plus
  • Hands-on personality with both practical and theoretical skills in mechanics and electronics
  • Ideally, experience in measurement technology and broad general knowledge of hydraulic machinery
  • Programming skills in Python or C++ are an asset
